The Buddy Holly Center is gearing up for another hot summer of music and fun with the annual Summer Showcase Concert Series. Performances are every Thursday evening from 5:30–7:30pm in the Meadows Courtyard, May 28 – September 3, 2009. No concert will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009. Lubbock Moonlight Musicals will be hosting a party in the Meadows Courtyard from 7:00-9:00pm to celebrate the opening of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Please call 806.632.0668 for ticket information.
The Summer Showcase experience is an entertaining and innovative environment, where patrons can enjoy original and unique Texas made music. Summer Showcase 2009 is free to the public. There will be a cash bar, as well as food and beverages available for purchase. Please, no outside beverages or coolers are allowed. The schedule is as follows:
