Volunteer
In an effort to meet public demand, the Buddy
Holly Center is revising and improving many of its current programs. In
order to provide the best service to the public, all volunteers, new and
old, will be required to attend one volunteer training session. These
training sessions provide volunteers the opportunity to expand their
knowledge about the Buddy Holly Collection and the Buddy Holly Center’s
various programs. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available
at the Buddy Holly Center, including docent, event staff and educational
assistant.
Mandatory attendance at one session is required to become or maintain
your volunteer status at the Buddy Holly Center. Benefits of being a
volunteer include receiving one free t-shirt and identification badge to
denote you as a Buddy Holly Center Volunteer. Volunteers also receive free
museum entry for themselves and family members.
