Covenant Children's Hospital: Every 3rd Thursday at 10am

UMC Children's Hospital: Every 3rd Friday at 10am

 In 2007, the Buddy Holly Center and the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts are once again teaming up to provide "Hospital UpstART Gang"  or HUG to area children's hospitals.  Once a month, young patients at Covenant Children’s Hospital and UMC Children’s Hospital will participate in one-on-one and group workshops introducing simple music and art concepts. Parents and hospital staff have spoken passionately about the combination of stress; anxiety and boredom that hospitalized children and their families endure. This program’s main goal is to help alleviate these hardships through arts, entertainment, and education.  HUG is funded in part by the Helen Jones Foundation and the CH Foundation.
